Housecalls, Holistic Veterinary Medicine for Livestock and Companion Animals, is the mobile holistic veterinary practice of Ann Swartz, DVM. In the greater Eugene/Springfield, Oregon, area, Dr. Swartz offers a “wholistic” approach that focuses on your animal’s wellness by visiting your home or farm to provide the best holistic veterinary care available.

Acknowledging that conventional medicine is only one of several different approaches, Dr. Swartz offers a range of healthcare options, including conventional medicine, herbal medicine, veterinary homeopathy, and Animal Normalization Therapy (manual therapy based in osteopathy). The main goal of this practice is to offer safe, effective, individualized, practical, and compassionate care choices for animal companions and livestock.

Dr. Swartz provides holistic veterinary care for all species with a wide range of services. These include physical exams, change of approach or second opinion consults, individualized vaccination protocols, basic lab work, and Animal Normalization Therapy. In addition, Dr. Swartz provides compassionate in-home or ranch pet or livestock hospice options and in-home or ranch pet or livestock euthanasia.

Dr. Swartz strives to involve pet guardians and farmer-ranchers in the practical health care of their companions by offering holistic medical choices for prevention, treatment, and hospice. Dr. Swartz is a 1988 graduate of the Oregon State University School of Veterinary Medicine and a dedicated holistic practitioner. She served the Medford area from 1989 to 2014. Currently, she travels the greater Eugene-Springfield area of the Southern Willamette Valley.
